Mexican Time Share ripoff attempted vacation plan scam

When vacationing in Cancun Mexico, I found out that there's something those slick vacation plan salespeople in Mexico don't want you to know about. Its a law that protects suckers like me who believe the sales pitch and sign contracts before reading the "fine print".
Apparently, the Mexican government realized that smooth talking salespeople can take advantage of just about any person and they decided to do something about it. What they did is to adopt a law that allows the parties of a contract 5 (five) business days for reconsideration.in other words, if you get "scammed" you have five days to undo your error... No matter what the contract says.

Here's how. First, resist all there attempts to stall or keep you "hooked". Next, go to their governmental agency referred to as "Profeco" which stands for Procuraduria Federal Del Consumidor. They have an office which is set up much like one of our Secretary of State offices. Take a number and wait. Based on my experience, they will assist you very well in dissolving the contract you want out of. But remember, you only have five business days to get to "Profeco". The "scammers" will use every trick to stall in order to get past the five day limit... And then you would truly be screwed.

Due to the numerous "Time share and other vacation plans being sold in Mexico, I believe every person going to Mexico should know of "Profeco" and Mexico's "5 day rule".
