Tricked me into giving them bank information and withdrew fund not authorized by me

A phone call saying I earned free airline tickets got my attention. They only needed to confirm some information. They gave me the routing number of my bank asked if it was correct and I made my first mistake, I said no and gave them the correct one.
I would recieve free airplane tickets in the mail and could continue my membership for a $40.00 start up fee and $19.95 a month. Either way the airline tickets were mine for free for tying.

When the packet came and I realized the tickets were not free nothing was free, I knew it was not what they said and I cancelled.

I never authorized $149 but the law says since I gave them the routing number, I'm stuck. The person on the phone kept insisting I didn't complete my end of the bargain and cancel on time so no refund. I kept insisting I did. She offered me coupons. I refused. When I mentioned fraud, she finally admitted if I wrote a letter I would get a refund. I have not heard from them since.

The bank suggest I close my account because they can come in at any time and charge me again.

Someone needs to change that law!
