I and my husband went to Cancun, Mexico on June 23,06 and on June 24,06 we attended a 90 minut presentation hosted by the Sunset Group and shown property by Mr. Salomon. We were shown the property and we were told that it is only a win, win! Investment, and how can we pass on such guaranties of income and that only the value of property will go up.By this point we have been there for 3 hours, we told Mr. Salomon that we need it to look into our finances.
We were referred to his manager a Mr. Roman Campo he then told us the same about investment as win, win! After offering several packages we told him that they are all out of our price range. Then he said he can try one more program in the amount of $38000usd and he would take off $5000usd for them to rent in the amount of $1700usd so that we would only be financing $33000usd. After the one year 2007 we would be able to use the rental income to pay the rest off quickly by using Resorts International Marketing Corp.
(RIMC) with one time processing fee of $549usd, Mr. Campo continue to say that it is a win, win investment for us. Now four hours we singned. Upon arriving home on the 27 of June, we reviewed the Contracts more carefully and found a page to be missing from our copy, page 5 of 6 in the member purchase agreement was missing and all the garanties and promeses are not stated in the contracts. So we immediately contacted them but with out any success.
So we reseached on line the company and found more complaints that reads like ours.
So on June 28 we emailed a cancelation letter and also by certified mail, now we have been contact by Mr. Hector Tornell a Lawyer for the group calling threating us saying he is going to take us for all we have, and that he has done it to alot of Americans.
