Traveling & Tourism

I purchased an investment timeshare from Royal Sunset in Cancun Mexico on 11/2/03 I was told I would receive a minimum of $5,100.00 return right away, all I had to do is pay Resorts International Marketing Corp (also know as Vacationweeks.com) $499.00 to market the timeshare as a rental in order for me to receive a guaranteed return of at least $5,100.00 for my first 3 weeks to be used in 2004. I would then receive $1,700.00 for each of the additional 10 weeks I own.

On 11/17/03 I paid Resorts International $499.00 and signed a contract with them at this time I was told I would receive a check by the end of April. It is now June and I have not yet received one dime from these thieves.

I have made several phone calls to VIP-Travel-Club, Royal Sunset and to Resorts International Marketing Corp who is Vacationweeks.com since 4/04. I have spoke to Diane, Barbara, Bruce and many other rude reps who will not give there names from this so called company, all I have got from them are lies, excuses, and very rude reps.

I have been told someone will call me back that never happened, the check was sent that never happened, and I have been hung up on several times. I have asked several times to speak with Phaedra Almstead the president of Vacationweeks.com she has never been available in the three years that I have been calling. I do not believe she even exists.

Now after 3 years I had Jennifer from VIP - Travel Club contact me to tell me that I have not paid my membership in three years that is why my weeks have not been sold. What a lie since I have a signed receipt showing it has been paid. Then she replies yes the problem was it was never separated from my contract at the time it went to billing. She says it was a human error that this happened. So Meanwhile I am out $5,100.00 and three weeks vacation. This is just another part of there scam, because two other victims of this scam that I have been in contact with the exact same human error happened to them to. This is just another one of there memorized lies in this scam.

Resorts International Marketing (Vacationweeks.com) is a US partner in Mexican timeshare fraud who is VIP-Travel-Club in Mexico who uses a fake address in the USA which is only a mail drop in Miami to collect all there fraudulent scam money from us Americans and these companies need to be stopped. They are crooks.

I am looking for names of any other victims that have been ripped off by these companies Royal Sunset, Sunset Lagoon, International Marketing Corp Vacationweeks.com and VIP-Travel-Club to start a Class Action lawsuit against them. You may contact me by E-mail if you would like to be part of this lawsuit.
