Vacation Homes Unlimited and owner Bruce Petersen ripped us off on a Las Vegas vacation home rental.

Bruce told me that he would give me a great deal on a rental home that normally rented for 699.00 per night. This was a 5000 square foot home with 5 bedrooms, very beautiful home. Bruce told me that someone cancelled their reservation and that he would give me a deal for 499.00 per night. After reveiwing his website that has all the picture of the home, I told him that I wanted to rent it. I gave him my credit card number and intrusted him to put a deposit on the home with it.

When I called back the next day I found out that he charged my for 6 nights 3,434.00 instead of 4. I talked to him the next day and he told me that he needed the home paid in full because it was 60 days prior to our arrival. He assured me that he was going to credit me the difference.

After I didn't see a credit I called them back on numerous occasions trying to talk with someone. I was transferred to someone called Monique who consequently never returned my calls. I became worried and put a dispute on my credit card. I finally talked with someone there today named Deanna who reported to me that the company had some legal issues and they were shutting down tonight 2/10/06.

I have not been in contact with Bruce Peterson, obviously I should have looked his company up before in trusting him with my credit card. This man needs to turned in to all the authorities. It looks like he has ripped off other people too. I really don't know how he can get away with something like this. He is obviously running fraudulent company.

Please do not give him your money.
