Sunkissed travel aka sunkissed promotions fraudulent usa holiday packages: paid $925,00 for nothing. Sunkissed website is blank and nobody answers calls!

I purchased a DISCOUNTED vacation package through Sunkissed Travel (www.sunkissedtravel.com) in Florida via the telephone. Now that I am wanting to reserve flights etc. It turns out that their website has gone blank, nobody returns my phone calls or e-mail queries.

I then looked at some bulletin boards on the net and discovered that so many other people have also been defrauded by them: Africa, Europe, the States, etc. I think they are part AMERIVACATION but can't be sure.

I saw some positive messages from supposedly "happy clients". Upon attempting to get in touch with them, their e-mail addresses had all been closed and I can only assume that these were fudged by SUNKISSED and its employees.

I desperately want to get my money back but can now probably kiss that good bye. I'm a single mother and can ill afford such a financial loss. One US Dollar is more than R6,00 in South Africa. Therefore my loss was certainly greater than many other 'hopeful travellers'.

It saddens me that this all came to light way too late. They have obviously already closed up shop and their website has been wiped clean - As if they never existed. I am yet to speak to someone who can PROVE that they went on one of these package holidays as purchased by me.

I am out of pocket and have lost faith in the legal systems that are supposed to protect innocent consumers.
