Rude Front Desk Service and Being Overcharged for an Extra Night

I was a guest from Aug 19, 2026 to Aug 21, 2026. When I first got there, the desk clerk was amazing. I asked her if I would be able to extend my stay one more day and check out Saturday. She said the hotel was completely booked but told me to keep checking in case of a cancellation. I asked her about the price, and she said I would be able to pay what I had already been paying since I was already staying there. I paid $138.28 each night I stayed.
Friday morning I called the front desk to see if there was a room. The clerk on duty (cashier #40) said yes, and when I asked about the price she said, "Ma'am, the room is going for 400, I can give it to you for 300." I asked her to please use my VA and senior discount. Her response was, "Ma'am, like I said, it is 400 a night, I am giving it to you for 300 a night, that is with your VA discount." She was rude and dismissive. I needed that one more night, but I could not afford 300 for it, and when I told her that, she just said, "OK, bye."
I am a Wyndham Rewards Gold member. I also asked about check-out time since I had to leave, and she said 11:00. I thought that as a Gold member I might get a bit more flexibility, but she said no.
I stay regularly at NoMa and love it there; the restaurant is amazing. But sometimes the staff you have at that front desk is horrible. Due to that interaction with cashier #40, I have no desire to stay there again and deal with her rudeness. I have never had a problem in all the years I've been staying there.
