Well, where should I start... I was contacted in the same mannor as many of you, a phone call. I recived my information in the mail about 6 day later and canncelled the same day, November 9th. I called the "customer care" number, pressed one to cancel and that was all I had to do. Right? No way!

I thank the people at Bank One who have included online banking in their services. I noticed the morning of november 17th that there was $149.00 withdrawal from my account. Hummm where did that come from? I called the number that was attached to my online statement, it refered me to a 900 number. Oh I'm spupid at times but on that stupid! They were gonna try to double whammy me with 900 calling charges.

After repeated and I mean repeated attemps to contact Capital Vacations I had enough; and walked through the door of my local Bank One branch. They were right on top of my problem. I filed a complaint on the spot and the bank called Capital Vacations, got a confirmation number and refunded my money through a wire transfer, the same way they withdrew it.

All I can say to those of you who have also been dupped, go to your bank. Capital Vacation hated hearing the voice of a "higher power"; a woman named Sandy at Bank One Customer Fraud Claims.

Ah but I won't stop there either. I have already typed a letter to my local newspaper, and filed a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General as well as the Florida Attorey General. Best of luck to all of you with the same scam, and by the look of this website there are at least 100 of us who have had the same run ins with this company.
