Can't believe we got scammed twice by same resort

We purchased points at Island Links Resort on Hilton Head Island last year only to find out that it was every other year. We were invited to come down to get our "time share" explained to us in Oct. 2012 only to have them talk us into buying an upgrade so now our home resort is Port a Call. I tried calling through RCI today to book a week in Nov only to find out that we do not have any home resort and RCI therefore cannot book anything for us. We upgraded into NOTHING. What a scam
