Straight Talk is supported by one of the most frustrating customer service systems that I have experienced. You have no option for out of the country (Mexico) service. You may have your service cut off while on auto-pay. You may be billed twice in one month.

You may be cut off after going through multiple prompts to get to customer service only to get repeated busy signals when you try to call back. You will get poorly trained customer personnel who do not speak clear, proper English. You will be told that they are sorry for your inconvenience multiple times as they muddle through your problem with long pauses while they read tech info or talk to their supervisor.

I have experienced all of the above. Do not get this plan if being without service or spending long periods of time trying to correct problems created at Straight Talk are major negatives for you. What you save on Straight Talk you will pay for in frustration
