They mislead customers about area codes

I got my Magic Jack early on. They did not let people know that not all area codes are available - don't know if they disclose that now before you buy the magic jack. My local area codes is not available, so I have to use an area code for a different city than where I live; and I bought this phone service to be able to use it as my local phone. I have been receiving 'promises' for months through the chat service with the technical services people that they are adding area codes and will eventually have all of them available; yet their website shows that the area codes list has not been updated since April 2. Anyone else having this problem?
