Jim Babin Avoid Myhockeytournaments - they mistreat and mislead young athletes by robbing out of town hockey players the ability to play in the Championship when they qualified

Myhockeytournaments promoted a quality hockey tournament in Philadelphia with a AA Midget division, 4 games and Championship game. They told out of town teams that were flying to schedule flights after 6:00 pm so if they made the Championship, the team could participate and have time to make flights to get home.in addition, they said the host hotels would be close to the rink. Our 15-16 year old boys flew from Dallas, Tx to Philadelphia, PA, were placed in a hotel 45 minutes from the rink. There were numerous closer hotels. We could deal with that. When the boys arrive at the rink, they discover the Championship game is scheduled late, 3:30 pm, making it impossible to play and make the 6:30 pm flight. The team manager notified Tim Regan and Jim Babin of the error in schedule and requested it be moved earlier if the boys make finals. We were told they need to win first. The boys played hard and won all 4 games, 3 were close but in game 3, the parents of the other team were angry that we were a AA midget team. That's when we realized this was now a A level tournament and the AA bracket we signed up for did not make and no one from myhockeytournaments notified us. The boys qualified for Championship but we were told by Tim Regan and Jim Babin that they would not switch the game to accommodate our flight. Although, they acknowledged they had told us initially a 6:30 flight would be late enough. There was a simple solution, switch the earlier consolation game that had local teams playing, with our late game. They were unwilling to fulfill their obligation to the boys. Myhockeytournaments is run by adults that don't care about the kids they are suppose to support.
