I almost bought a high end elliptical from an outfit listed as Craigs stocks which has the same pictures as above. I was responding to an ad on Craigs List which then I received an email from these people. Website was very professional and might have bought, with customer service, phone numbers, a login account, automated email response, etc But, a couple of things concerned me. First, Amazon was selling the same unit for $5,000 and these people were selling the unit for $750 including shipping from CA to RI. Hmmm, I said.

Next and perhaps foremost was this green dot payment method. Third was that although the shipping was from Fresno California as is the contact phone number, the California Secretary of State did not list any such corporation or partnership. (Most, if not all, states have a secretary of state website where information regarding a company operating in the state.) Last, a search of the internet for a Craigs Stock scam did not come up with any hits I did come across this page after a while. So, I thought I would add this and use the words Craig Stocks and Craigs List so others might find this post before they get scammed. Again the scam is Craig Stocks.
