I called this company to ask about their underwater digital strobe packages. I explained to the owner that this would be my first strobe.

He proceeded to tell me that he sold custom manufactured strobe packages. Well, I guess he told the truth, kind of. The base was a crappy piece of discarded plastic, the arm was crummy flexible plumbing that couldnt withstand two fingers worth of pressure, and the strobe itself was a Bonica strobe that sells normally for half what this clown sold it for.

As soon as I got it, I realized that it was a piece of crap. I called them and politely explained that I was disappointed. The owner said that I would be charged a restocking fee if I sent it back, and no shipping would be refunded. Funny, when I ordered this piece of crap, he never said shipping would be charged at all. The shipping label was $9, but this clown charged $26.

I sent this crap back and filed a dispute with my credit card company. One really funny thing was this jerk tells me on the phone, when I called to complain, "you got exactly what is pictured on the website. Go to the site and look at the postage stamp sized photo! If he showed close ups, nobody would buy from him!

Buyer beware. This company is buying low-grade stuff, making it worse, and doubling the price, only to try and stick uninformed consumers with the product afterward. I wonder how much money he actually makes off of his restocking fees.

Bottom line, you need to depend on your equipment when you scuba dive.
