Sahara dance was voted DC's best Dance Studio for 2010 but many people at the studio know this is only partly true. They projected beauty, grace, celebration of feminity all at the expense of the students there.
Various complaints against their dance teachers were voiced and nothing has been done to correct the unethical conducts some of the teachers have done to their students.instead of celebrating feminity, they showed that you must fit their suppose ideal dancer image than being an average women, some with hips, thights and a bit of attitude. Good examples are their performance shows where teachers are well known to discriminate against less than ideal students by placing them in the back of the line. They preferred to place skinny meagerly size 2, attractive, light skin dancers in the front than placing average women who represented the majority of the students who fund their studio costs.
