Deceptive Ski Rental Company will break your leg Internet

This Ski Rental Company is not only deceptive they will get you a broken leg or worse.

I should have gone to another Ski shop as soon as I was argued with and then told parabolic skis are not made any longer than 176cm???

I am 5'10" 155 lbs and I told them "I would like a pair of at least 180's". They brought me a pair of 146cm skis??? (rosig's)

That's when the lady argues they don't make long skis in parabolic. What she should have said is you don't need as long of skis in parabolic. Which I know, but I usually rent 186cm Solomon s and they are really good for my style.

What I didn't tell these folks is that I was on the Ski Team for two years in California in my Teens, I worked at a well known sporting goods shop as a Ski Technician during college and Set up rental skis for customers.

Eventually I get a pair of 176cm that just came in and had snow on them (OK), So I almost got what I want.

I notice the Setup Tech not being able to set the left ski binding (Sticking Binding) But another Tech comes along and hits it with a tool and then it slid into the correct boot size for me.

Now I let them set me up for an Intermediate skier just because I didn't want to argue any more - plus I had a feeling? And didn't want a broken bone skiing.

I get to the register and am charged 30.00?? I asked what about the 22.00 - the girl says I have performance package. I Didn't ask for anything but a long ski. My wifes price is 30.00 also and she had terrible skis and boots.

So I on the slopes cruising down a double black Diamond when my left ski falls off.

I on real steep stuff and know I need to get down. I drop to the ground on my own doing about 35mph. It's a wipe out and I'm still sore in the leg and back from that, thanks to my good dirt bike crash and roll skills or Would have been dead.

I look at the binding and its' adjustable sliding binding has released and slid to a size 12 boot. I wear a 9 boot

I can't get in back into position and after an hour I finally slam it with my pole to release it and make the field repair. The same thing the shop did before they gave it to me. They should have logged a defective equip TAG and gave me another ski right then. (Smoking Gun).

So after I made the field repair I was not going to trust this binding again so I packed up and went home.

I ski one time a year now days and am as good as when I was a kid but I don't like wasting 56.00 on a lift ticket 30.00 on rental and 100.00 hotel and 100.00 gas and 50.00 food.

So I spent 336.00 not mentioning my wifes lift and rental for an hour of skiing.

But the number one thing I am alarmed is when I told the Shop. They paid no attention really and said here's a pair of ski's For SALE.

This means there going to sell them to some poor sole to kill himself.

This shop has no regard for the sport, Its' Dangers, or the people they rent to.

Don't get hurt - Go somewhere else
