Unethical Business Practices

In October I purchased a 6 month membership at forever fitness in Wake Forest, I paid buy check in advance with the agreement that I would not need to continue after that time. We are in the Raleigh are for only 6 month a year and I made this very clear.

We left the area for the summer in april and I assumed our relatioship with this company had ended.

Imagine my suprise when an audit of my wifes checking account revealed that they had been making an unauthorized debits from her account monthly for the past year, upon calling the owner he said he would refund our money and appologized, for 3 weeks I have been getting the run around with no crediting back of the funds.

I have no idea why all fitness center business seemed to be managed so poorly and unethically.

Stay away from this business and never ever give them acces to your credit card or checking account numbers. We will back taking legal action to get our money back as soon as possible.
