Knowingly employs a convicted sex offender to work and travel with minors unsupervised

Aerials and Baranis Gymnatics Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, knowingly employs a man who was convicted of sexually abusing a 13 year old girl to teach gymnastics to the children. He is on the Michigan Sex Offender list. This man also travels with the team (all minors) to meets in various cities and states. He was the owner at one time, but after his conviction he was told to sell his interest in the business. He sold it to his wife, changed the name of the facility, and she still employs him. They do nothing to let the public know of his conviction.

Under Michigan law, this man cannot work in schools or daycares, but apparently there is a loophole in the law which allows him to work in the private sector. This needs to be changed!!!
