I have a small boat, older that was leaking hydraulic fluid. I took the boat to SUn Harbor, they wrote up an estimate for repair, based on the estimate I allowed the work.
Two weeks later, they started the work, by end of that day I was called and informed the work could not be completed. The parts were to old, not accessible and I owe them 165.00 dollars for their effort.
I reluctantly paid them, while I should not have, I did. I returned the boat to my home, where I proceeded to remove the pump, change the gasket and end the leak. Took me all of 4 hours, I am not a mechanic - I am also not a thief and Liar.
Stay away from their repair shop... The only reason I used them was due to the good relations of the bait shop. A good deal on clams is not worth the delay in the repair and the failed (if at all) repair.
