Horrible Customer Service and Somehow Stole My Debit Card Information - After I Intentionally Changed It!

I have a major complaint for LA Fitness clubs. I have been trying to cancel my membership for months now without any result.

I have gone into multiple locations to ask for help, sent in letters and called their 800 number without any confirmation, and they continue to charge my debit card.

A month ago I decided to give up trying to receive a reimbursement for the funds and simply cancel my card.

Today, I received a 159.00 charge, with my NEW debit card number to my account. My bank says they cannot see any reason how LA Fitness could possibly receive my credit card information! After calling the dreaded 800 number again, I was told that Wells Fargo had given them my new information. This is strange, as I have never had any dealings with this institution. I contacted my bank branch manager again, who said this is impossible, and LA Fitness must be giving incorrect information. Upon calling the 800 number yet again, the next representative told me that my bank had given the information! I have already confirmed with my branch manager that this is impossible.

Where are they receiving this information from? And why do they never allow their customers to cancel?!

They have stolen over $ 300.00 from me now, and who knows how much longer this is going to last.

All of South Florida and the United States should beware of this business! They have the worst business practices I have ever seen!
