Ordered a helmet nov. 2006 and sent a check never got the helmet or my money back

I ordered a helmet nov. when I ordered it I spoke to gabby and she asked me to send a check because they did not take credit cards at the time, so like a jerk I sent a check for $198.32 and never heard from them again. I emailed them dozens of times and left many messages on their answering machine but to this day never got a responce. I also sent a complaint to the us post office postmaster gen. But never got a responce from them. I don't understand how they can still be on the internet takeing peoples money which to me is the same as stealing.
