Paid with bad check. Account Closed Ripoff

Andrea Wetherholt ordered merchandise from our website during the Christmas rush. We offer to take Paypal, Check or Money Order. Andrea Wetherholt decided to pay by check. When we received the check, we emailed and asked for a drivers license number. We got a number and tried to run it, but it was refused.in looking at it, it seemed to be a car license number. So we wrote again. No answer. We should have been alerted, but in the Christmas rush, you are not always at your sharpest.

We finally deposited the check and gave it what we thought would be an adequate time to be notified if it did not clear.
Then we asked our supplier to drop ship the merchandise. 15 days after we shipped, we got the bad check notice from the bank.

Although we hate to do this, because most people we deal with are honest, we will stop taking checks on our website.
