Made in China

I have been a longtime customer of Lucky Brand and have been thrilled
that I have purchased great jeans that are made in the USA and that are
made to good quality standards. My most recent purchase (a few weeks
ago) was a pair of jeans that fit well at the store and after an hour of
wearing them, they were far too big (2 sizes). I have purchased many
styles from Lucky Brand including super stretch and I've been very pleased with the fit. The pair was a black jean with a straight cut-sorry, I don't know the name of the fit because the style is no longer listed on the interior tag! Also, I noticed that it was made in China.

I am very disappointed that Lucky Brand has gone this direction to "made
in China" and thereby lowering the quality of the product and deceiving
their customers who have purchased Lucky Brand jeans based on "made in
USA" and the quality and style of the product. I realize that tops, sweaters, accessories, etc have been made in several other countries (it has always been that way) but the foundation of the company has been American made jeans.
I believe that you will lose a vast number of loyal customers based on
your recent decisions.

A customer can enter "Made in USA" in the search area of the website and all American made jeans will be featured. There are 11 styles of women's jeans of which 9 of them are on final clearance. This leaves 2 current styles that are not made in China. I used to gladly buy jeans at Lucky Brand that were $100, not any more.
