I placed an order through Amazon.com for some face cream that I love. Something I have been comfortable doing for nearly 20 years! Until today. I opened the second jar of cream from it's bubble wrap and crazy amount of packing tape, and lo and behold the jar is wiped clean of cream. At first, I thought I had accidentally picked up the one I just finished yesterday by accident. NOPE! This was carefully packeaged and wrapped and shipped... Used, to the last bit of it. I turned the box over and noticed the circular clear sticker was gone without even a trace of adhesive. I wrote the seller immediately and informed them. I receive this curt reply in broken english, no less.:

Dear customer,
i have shipped 2 jars with near 1 lb (US Postal record) to you back in august
so it is almost impossilbe one is empty
i am a honest person and i want to do lots of business on amazon
why would i shipl you an empty jar to ruin my reputation?
Besides, your request of returing it is over 30 days

I did not call her dishonest, I actually assumed, unlike herself, that it was a mixup with an obviously used, returned item. She clearly couldn't give a crap and then basically said that I was lying. Great customer service, Nancy! Should serve you well with the American customer... I then reported it to Amazon and they simply stated that I should have checked the product (from the order date, of course~impossible since it takes 3 weeks from China) within 14 days and informed them. So I am s.O.L., "Nancy" or whatever her real name is, has my money as well as Amazon has their cut. Way to support the American consumer, AMAZON! Screw you, Nancy, now I know you're a thief and a liar!
