Safeway customer service - Safeway brand whipped topping

I stopped in quickly to pick up some whipped topping for an apple crisp I baked for a corn roast. I went to the back where the Ice cream and whipped topping was and clearly checked what I thought was the right product. I quickly grabbed it and stood in line to pay. After a long time the checker rang it up and told me it was $5.24 when I thought it was $3.89. She asked a male clerk to do a price check. He left begrudgingly after she made a derogatory comment against another employee. He returned and instead of telling me I had the wrong product he mad a comment that insinuated that I was trying to get a deal. I went back and saw how it had been placed in the wrong side and grabbed the name brand one and than had to stand in line again for along time to pay for it. The clerk than snottily told me that it was not there responsibility when customers placed things in the wrong place. I will never go back there again they made me feel terrible. It would have taken that employee 2 seconds to offer to bring me up the name brand product and treat me with dignity. I can see why the store is dying because they are rude self entitled employees who believe they are right and not the customer. Terrible customer service absolutely terrible.
