Scammed, Stole, bad buisness, took money

On July 9th 2 girls came to my dads door dressed in school like uniforms. My dad is 65yrs old and is in and out of stable mental condition. They were jumping up and down and all excited and told him they were selling magizines and that they only needed to sell one more to win a trip to vegas. My father let them in and they explained one magizine was $55.00 and that they needed a check. My father agreed to purchase the magizine subscription for $55 (which gave him 12months worth). He then wrote them a check out for $55, and they offered to tear it out for him so it didnt rip.

They tore out the check and left. The next day they cashed the $55 check only they cashed 2 checks for the same amount each the $55. See what they had done is they asked to tear out the check for my dad so it didnt rip, they tore out the check behind it, filled it out and cashed that as well. So they took my dad for an extra $55. Not only did they steal his money but he never got his magizine subscription as well. This scam has been going on for a while now and its world wide not just a certain state.

So if this happens to you do not give them any money and definatly do not write them a check. I am sure they have got millions off of scamming people just like my dad all around the globe. $55dollars doesnt seem like alot of money to some people but think if there doing this in every state how much money you could get if they scammed 1 out of every 10 people. So please be aware of people coming to your door and trying to sell you stuff. Think twice. And if they say they are from this company then steer clear. I wish I had seen and caught this earlier than I did.
