Fraudelent charge on Walmart.com

Shops, Products, Services

I was charged for an XBOX activation card through my Walmart.com account. I emailed immediately that I didn't place this order, then called when they opened. I was told the order was cancelled, and that Walmart was aware of this fraud - yet, they didn't flag the item and scan orders containing it! The order was NOT cancelled. When I called again I was told the charge would be reversed in 3-5 business days. It was NOT. I called AGAIN and was told I have to dispute it with my bank. I asked for something like a goodwill gift certificate for the major issues this charge caused me, a standard procedure with the catalog I work for, and after a lengthy hold was told this isn't possible since it was a fraudelent charge (?)!!! This has taken repeated phone calls, money out of my acct that was due to other bills (and I may now lose my new washer dryer due to the late payment) I will have to close my debit card and take 2 weeks to get a new one. Since I'm disabled this will cause a terrible problem with bill paying etc.in the company I work for, I as a customer service rep would have had the power to take care of this issue immediately in one phone call - I can't believe Walmart can't!!! I was repeatedly misinformed and treated quite snippily in my last phone call, as if I had caused the problem!!!
