Dear Editor: Please edit any terms you deem fit.

Hearst Magazines have a online magazine ordering system in use that allows anyone to mail you a magazine, as a prank. They need to stop this, and require a CREDIT CARD #—or—SSI#, in order to stop pranksters from using their site as a harrasment tool.

If anyone knows of a way to catch a prankster doing this, or&know a legal way to force these magazine companies to require CREDIT CAR#'s/and/or/SSI# to "Order Verify"; please contact me.

Hello:

My name is Pete. I have been a victim of over 100 magazine subscriptions. J.R. Cahoon, of 66 Lyman Street Brockport, NY 14420 - is the culprit. With the way your service is set up, there is no way for victims to catch people like J.R., and stop them. This costs you money, and drive people like me to the point of needing a shrink. If your company does not do something to fix this situation soon, I will be forced to file a complaint with the Attourney General, and speak to a lawyer.

Please; NEVER send me any more magazines.

And if this subject is not in your "Job Description"; please refer it to whom it does apply.

Thank you.
