ANN CHAPMAN Darlingpurrs. Dishonest breeder. Buyer/breeder beware!

ANN CHAPMAN, CFA Breeder is dishonest and keeps her kittens in a dirty, filthy environment! The kittens I was going to purchase had a strong, foul smelling odor of feces. I couldn't get the odor off my hands or clothes after holding them in her home.
She promised me that I was putting deposits on "show kittens". She said they were from grand champion parents. She does not even have the pedrigrees for 3 of the 4 parents. The one pedrigree I did see was one of a "backyard" breeder trying to fool the public. She disputed the characteristics when discussing what a "show quality" kitten would look like suggesting that it would take 2-3 years to see the cat develop.
She asked me to promise NOT to vaccinate the kittens stating that this would "kill" them. She is too cheap to provide any vaccinations herself so the kittens she sells are unprotected from diseases.
Looking at the female she brought out to me, it was obvious that the kittens eyes were red and infected.
Although she claims the cat will develop into a "show cat" in 2 -3 years, she herself told me of a well known local breeder who tried to return one of these kittens back to her 2 years later. She is angry that the other breeder expected her to be truthful about the quality of her cats. She refused to take the cat back so the breeder overpaid for a cat that was NOT a "show quality" cat.
At this time, she has kept $800.00 of deposits because I will not pay an additional $2000.00 for kittens that are NOT "show quality"!
I will be notifying CFA and TICA and requesting that they consider revoking her breeding priveleges if she is so dishonest with the public. I will also be notifying Animal Control of animals who are being kept in an overcrowded, filthy environment without the right to adequate medical assistance (vaccinations/eye medicine).
Finally, I will be filing a lawsuit against Darling Purrs Cattery/ANN CHAPMAN for dishonest business practices.
There are many kind and helpful breeders when buying a kitten but this woman is not one of them... Her final comments to me when I reminded her of her other buyers she said she had were, "I don't like to sell my cats to gay men... Maybe a gay lady but not gay men...!" Since she did not have an immediate buyer, she felt justified keeping my $800.00. Don't trust her to be truthful about her kittens! Think very carefully before giving her a deposit!
