RIPOFF 3 On Your Side... Not when the company you're complaining about is an advertiser. Metro Area

Two times now I have attempted use the "3 On Your Side" services of News Channel 3, both times I was rejected for help, and given useless information that I had already tried (which is the reason why I went to them in the first place)

I have found that if a company that advertises with them is the one that your complaining about, they seem to reject the request because they dont want to lose that advertising revenue. Now they wont come out and tell you this. But its implied because you then see ads on their channel for that very same company but never any "bad news" about that company ever.

The second time I tried to use them, I was told "Sorry we are too booked, tried the AG or BBB office"

I understand them being busy in all, but instead of just rejecting a potential story because your busy, at least investigate the situation and then reject/permit the story on its own merits.

If they are too busy to take new stories maybe they ought to post that on the website...

That is just my $. 02 worth, as it seems that most news channel are VERY ONE SIDED! I thought that News Channel 3 was better. But now I think different of them.

They should be doing everything to keep their customers/viewers especially when they are losing them to the sattelite and digital cable viewers.
