Kassandra Klein Kassandra Klein filed fraudulent charge-back claims against my company for services they contracted for and received

Kassandra Klein of Hair Design by Klein intentionally filed fraudulent charge back claims against Inspired WebWorks, LLC. Below is the sequence of events.

October: Kassandra Klein contacts Inspired WebWorks about the possibility of building a web presence for her hair salon. We prepared a proposal of which the Klein reviewed for 2 weeks prior to her making a decision to move forward with the project.

November 11th:

Kassandra Klein contracts with Inspired WebWorks to design and create a website, Facebook business page, email newsletter with Mailchimp and monthly web hosting once the site is ready to go live on the web.

This part of the project is $597, of which Kassandra Klein writes a check for 50% deposit, as outlined in the contract.

December 16th:

At clients request, Inspired WebWorks consults with client for 3 hours to create a 1st quarter 2012 marketing plan for her business. Consulting time, 3 hours.

January 18th:

At clients request, Inspired WebWorks consults with client to assist her in registering her domain name, www.HairDesignbyKlein.com and to review website design. Consulting time: 3 hours

Place of meeting, Loaf & Jug, Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI

February 3rd:

Inspired WebWorks creates the hosting account on our servers to host HairDesignbyKlein.com
Inspired WebWorks installs the Wordpress platform on the hosting account for the new website.

February 17th:

At clients request, Inspired WebWorks consults with client to review logo design and layout/content for website. Consulting time, 2 hours

February 28th:

Client approves layout and website design per email (all documented)

March 20th:

Inspired WebWorks graphic designer creates a web-ready logo based on the client's existing logo design.

April 8th:

Inspired WebWorks creates MailChimp for Kassandra Klein along with her sign up forms and newsletter template.

April 26th:

Www.HairDesignbyKlein.com goes live on the web after client approval.inspired WebWorks consults with Kassandra Klein for a 3 hour training session on the Wordpress platform, showing her how to login, make a blog post and add content, how to login to her MailChimp account to import contacts and create a newsletter.

During this meeting, we also assisted the client in securing her 25 Facebook 'likes' in order to obtain her Facebook username (Facebook.com/HairDesignbyKlein)

Client brings her friend, Marion Butters to the meeting.

At this meeting, client submitted the balance of the project due fees for the logo work done.

July 21st:

Inspired WebWorks received notification from PayPal that client has filed charge back claims with her credit card company in the amount of $373.50 for the balance of the project the logo and for each month of web hosting for March, April, May & June for a total of $481.50

In addition, we are still owed $900 in consulting fees that were never paid by client. We have already filed a BBB report and will take this to small claims court if necessary.

We have submitted 45 pages of documentation of the entire case. Contracts, email conversations, web hosting logs, etc.

August 6th:

As of this date, HairDesignbyKlein.com is still live on our servers. The only reason we haven't removed it yet is it is our proof we did the work the client contracted for.
