Merchant Paul Horsten DBA Meistercraft entered into a written contractual agreement to reupholster a love seat/sleper and arm chair. The merchant was paid in cash. A receipt was provided with a promised completion date of two weeks from the date of sale. Horsten made numerous excuses but never completed the work or provided the furniture. Five months have past since the delivery date.
Horsten has since closed his place of business without any notification or forwarding address. The status or whereabouts of the furniture is unknown. A civil action is pending in small claims court.
