Rip-off! Boarderline Criminal Behavior! Deplorable service! Disgusting workers!

We hired Transport Moving Group to move from Florida to Virginia. We had them put our stuff in storage for one month. The first time they picked up our stuff the presented us with a bill that was $2,500 more than the original quote. The movers wrapped material that was unneccesary and drove up the price. They also knew how large the move was and brought a truck too small for the move. Much of this complaint sounds like one written earlier about this same moving company but it is not nearly the reason I am motivated to write this. What happened on the Virginia side of this move is deplorable.

We were supposed to moved in four days before they actually showed up. When they did arrive, and never returned phone calls about when they were coming, they arrived at 10:30 pm. I told them my infant son had a 103 fever, it was pouring out and very late and a big job and they should wait, the driver refused, showed up anyway and moved my stuff in until 3:00 am.

They did the move in the pouring rain and at 3:00, when the truck was empty but I was still missing half my stuff the driver said he was tired and left a chunk of my stuff on the front lawn in the rain. The stuff he did move inside had all the wrappers on them and were thrown all over and not in the rooms where they were going. They put nothing together, no bed frames, my sectional was thrown in the front room with all the wrapping on each piece and left for me to do.

He put two pieces of furniture through my new walls of my home and said "you have to expect something to happen, we are not perfect." I had to wait another week and a half for them to bring some more of my stuff and I am still, on September 13, two months after the original move, waiting on three boxes and a ladder.

I have called, emailed and tried to resolve this issue and I am ignored and calls are not returned by Michelle our representative. I am doing everything I can to make sure no one ever uses this company. The one mover seemed to work for the company but the other man let me know that he was a local, picked up off the street to help move and he had never moved before. This was obvious by the way he broke half my furniture. The main mover even called my mother in-law a bitch when she asked if they were going to finish the move that we paid $5,300 for and he said he was done, we could finish it ourselves.

I have pictures of this night and I am planning on doing everything I can to go after this company to protect other people from this experience. When I went on this site, wouldn't you know that another person had a similar experience, what are the odds? Do not use this company.
