Aldo horrible customer service - Swanston

I went to the Aldo in Fox Valley. I bought a pair of heels that were comfortable when walking around the store (back and forth 10 feet?). I wore them around the house, NEVER wore them outside, and found them to be just too high to walk in. I brought them back to the store TWICE. The first time, the sales associate refused to return them because she claimed they had been scuffed up and worn outside. I asked to speak to her manager, and she claimed she "was the manager." (Yeah right.) She said I could exchange them or she could stretch out the straps (how the hell will that help me if the heel is just too high?) but kept refusing to return them. The second time I went to try to return them, another sales associate claimed the shoes had been worn and refused to return them. Again, I had never worn them outside of my house. Finally, after threatening to take their names and speak to their superiors, she finally agreed to allow me to return them because I found that the bottom of one of the shoes had a manufacturing imperfection (a bump where the nail was threatening to pop out).

The shoes are cute, but poor quality. This store is a complete scam. They only want to make money and hate having to return a refund for fear of losing money. I will never, EVER shop at Aldo again, and I will discourage everyone I know from shopping there.
