Ripoff

Well... I just looked at my bank account and found a debit for an ABC Finance Corp in the amount of $48.20. I know that i didnt authorize for this nor did i know who this was. I e-mailed my husband because he is in the military on a west pac at the moment. I asked him if he knew anything about it. He was unsure of the name but said that a friend had told him about some camera stuff and that it looked like a good deal.

He said that it was just a one time charge... But if this is the case then why did it happen again... And why is it happening when the miltary gets paid? I found a phone number for the corp... But conveniently no one answers nor is their an answering machine or a message system saying where you have called.

After much research on the internet. I believe this to be a scam but am unaware of how to stop these debits from occuring from the account. Obviously calling them to have it stopped isnt working. So the only option i can see that is left is to close my account.

So if there is anyone out there with someone in the military please make them aware of these con artists so they dont end up losing hundreds and thousands of dollars like myslef and others have lost!!
