DESIGNER FLOORS Ripoff No interest loans that you didn't authorize

Designer Floors of Nashville will rip you off on their "No Interest Loans". When you are given the opportunity to get a no interest loan through Designer Floors they will add usually about 10% to the cost of your floors. This is what the loan company charges them to get the loan, so they recoup this amount by charging this fee to you.

What they do is ask you how you want to pay for their services, if you say finance it with the no interest loans they will immediately charge this to the estimate before they tell you how much it will cost. Be very leary when Louise asks you for all your information to "Apply" for the loan. She will usually say "Let me see if you qualify" but instead of running a credit check she runs this as a purchase. If you decide you don't want to go through with this, you will have a big problem because you now have a loan that you don't even know about and you are obligated to pay this off or risk it going down as bad credit even though you didn't buy anything. Also many credit cards are run without them having the card in front of them. On the charge account the credit card company asks"do you physically have the card" and you type in yes eventhough you don't.

The owner of Designer Floors also put a lot of claims back to the carpet manufacturer claiming that they had damaged goods or are shot. This way they can get their materials for less or even free. There is a client in the River Plantation area that has a floor put down by Designer Floors using the wrong adhesive and not enough adhesive. The manufacturer of the wood and the adhesive both have claimed that it is Designer Floors problem and they are refusing to fix it. Their guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on. The best way to get a guarantee is not to do business with them. Some day they are going to run out of clients.

They cannot give you 10 customers who are happy with their services. Just call and ask for references from Ask them about their TV ad, ask them if the person giving them such a great review is in fact a partner with their son (Harrarars Const.Co of Nashville.
