Refund of Security Deposit

I paid a security deposit of $3,935 dollars on Oct. I ended my lease with this building owner on April 30. I received my security deposit on May 8 for a amount of $338.43

No explanation of the diffences or why this amount, I have asked for a breakdown of why/what was deducted as of May 21 no response. How can a company as large as Metzler not send a breakdown of what/why was deducted.
