Paid over $3000 for wedding photography and can't get my bridal portrait itself worth $400

Anyone whose ever been married or is planning to be so knows how important the wedding photography is to the event. This is the area that everyone tells you not to skimp on—serve hotdogs if you have to, but don't get bad pictures. So I hired Adrienne James Photography to shoot my wedding.

Well, I must admit, I did so because they really are the best in town. Adrienne is the wife, James is the husband, and the two of them work beautifully together. I couldn't have asked for better pictures. The only thing about it, was I didn't get them all. You know the pride and joy of every mother's household, the big 24x36 portrait of her daughter in her glorious wedding splendor sagging over the mantle? To Adrienne James, depending on the frame you choose, that portrait is worth anywhere from $300-$1000. The one I'd selected was going to be about $400. And I figured after paying $3450 plus TN state tax of %9.25 that I wouldn't have any trouble getting that portrait. Well, I was married on May 11th. Today is August 11th, and still there is no portrait. I emailed multiple times. I called. I threatened lawsuits. Nothing I did encouraged even the curtesy of a reply.

So, while I totally recommend their work, as they truly are fabulously talented, I advise anyone considering using them to also use very extreme caution. Stay on them! Get EVERYTHING in writing. Don't let a single detail out of your control with them.
