Payment extention Lie

On April 26th my wife called the Dish network Customer service center to set up a payment extention for May 3rd. The customer service rep (ID # DSQ) told her that this would be acceptable and no action would be taken to suspend our service. We were out of the house most of the day on April 29th and when we got back our service was suspended.

I immediatly called Dish Customer service and got a rep who could barely speak english. He told me that the prior customer service rep had typed notes in stating that my wife was told that no extention was possible and that our service would be suspended. This is a bald faced lie. The rep I spoke to refused to help me and put me on hold for over 30 min supposedly waiting on a supervisor.

After holding for that 30 min I hung up and called back. This time i got a rep (ID XOL) who spoke english and understood what I was saying. This rep also refused to help me and insisted that my wife either misunderstood the rep or lied to me. The only ones who are lying are the CS Reps at dish.

My wife has been a nurse for over 36 years and she doesn't misunderstand things nor does she lie. I intend to place calls to the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, and the State Attorny general's office. Then just so they know that I am serious i may file a small claims suit for Fraud, Breach of Contract, and Deceptive Business practices.
