Company is a total rip off to pet owners

I have visted three locations in Arizona for the Banfield Clinics. They are all complete rip offs. I was stupid and signed up for the wellness program for a kitten I found in a rain storm. I signed up mainly to get her spayed and for her shots.

The first clinic we went to the vet never touched her and made it very clear he did not like cats. He kept telling me I needed to get her claws taken out - I said that I did not want to do that and he went on and on about how my kitten would claw up my furniture and I would change my mind.

I made an attempt to get out of the program, but I found out I was stuck. Therefore, I tryed another location. They seemed ok and I had them finish her shots.

I found another location closer to my home and decided to take her there to get her spayed. To my surprise the spay is included in the plan, but they did not tell me when I signed up for the program that they would charge extra for the medication. What a rip - It was going to cost me another 65.00 which is the cost to have a cat spayed at any of the low cost clinics in the Phoenix area.

I was so stupid to sign up for this program. It was a complete waste of money and I would not feel comfortable having anyone that works for this company to touch my kitten again. I am stuck having the balance of the plan to pay for, but I would rather throw away the money, go to a low cost clinic, pay another 65.00 than spend another dime with these people. It is too bad they are located in the Petsmart stores, I will never do business with Petsmart again because of Banfield.
