Dunkin Donuts Rt 15 Essex - vanilla chai

I was very frustrated. I had been working all day and was heading back to work and since I was going to be up until 1230AM a chai latte would have been really nice, but when I stopped at Dunkin Donuts located on RT 15 in Essex VT I got the opposite of what I wanted. When I walked in at 7:40 pm it looked like it was closed. All the food was put away. I asked and was told they were open until 8pm. When I asked for my chai the response I got was "oh I just shut down the Latte machine". I asked what they had and the answer was Hot or cold coffee. Why the F*K would you be open until 8 and shut almost everything down more than 20 minutes before you are supposed to be closed. If a store says they are open until a certain time I expect to walk in and get what I want until that time. I had no time to stop somewhere else. So angry especially later when I was dog a* tired and could have really used a little extra energy getting home. It really seemed like the employee was shutting things down early so she could go home. I'm sure employees come in a little early in the morning to get stuff set up, what would it be any different at night to stay later to clean up.
