SouthCoast Towing & Recovery
This is ridiculous - all about making a buck! Should be ashamed!

Southcoast recovery & towing are heartless and insensitive ppl! I know times are hard and everyone needs to make a buck but today they took advantage of the situation with a single mother just trying to survive!!! My sister lives in Carnes Crossing (aka ARC) off Myers Rd and was in the process off moving out by herself when she backed her truck up to the door and was loading her final boxes... SOUTHCOAST RECOVERY hooked up to her truck and charged $150 for them to unhook because she was parked on the grass (apparently a new rule in complex - however she rents from a private owner not CC)!!! If she would not have come outside and seen what was going on they would have left with her truck and charged her $250 to get it back! Highway robbery! First of all, she was moving. She was alone and putting boxes in truck. It was apparent it was a quick and temporary "park" and an exception SHOULD have been made. She wasn't clearly or deliberately breaking anyones rules... She was simply trying to get large boxes into her vehicle by herself!!! She repeatedly pleaded with these people, begging and crying, explaining she had spent her last dollars to move... To no avail! The nice (use that term lightly) gentleman drove her to the gas station to use atm and pay him (CASH only transactions - how many of you keep that kind of cash in your pocket?)!!! How heartless and insensitive people have become - shame on Southcoast Recovery and ARC?!: (
