Took 50 % deposit on furniture and 7 months later we have nothing

On january 12th we got a quote from furniture usa. We ordered $3400 worth of furniture from them. We gave a 50% deposit. This was an engagement gift as we were married on february 29th.

Well, today is july 22, we have bought a new house been married almost 5 months a yet stil no furniture. Our repeated phone calls and emails have not been answered. I called the 2 manufactureres of the furniture we ordered, and hours after finally getting someone to talk to us, because our story was so confusing we learned today that linda libertore, as a representative of furniture usa, never even placed our order.

My only hope now is that we can get them on fraud, and perhaps mail fraud, if in fact the attorney general in nc will help us do not be tempted by ther beautiful web site these people are outright liars.

They sound so nice and courteous with their southern accents. But, make no mistake, these people and this company are thieves, with no shame. Oh look around you they will probably be sitting next to you on the pew in service next sunday morning
