Desi Bazaar
For South Asian Groceries & Halaal Meat I felt ripped-off no refund. Response was we are not responsible for the inside of the produce

On 07/20/04 I purchased 2 bags of Basmati Rice and a box of mangos from the Desi Bazaar a total of $21:98. The woman behind the counter assured me the mangos were sweet and that I was sure to enjoy them. The first mango I peeled, revealed dry rot. I tried several and ALL the mangos were unfit for human consumption.

I called the store&Desi Bazaar to inform them that the entire box of mangos was spoilt. The owner stated that 'He was not responsible for the inside of produce and would not give me a refund. The next day after work I returned the box of mangos to the store so they could see I was not lying or attempting to get some thing for nothing. The owner's son was there and was grossed out at the sight of the mangos.

He called his father on the phone and explained the sight before him and still his father refused to exercise any customer friendly service. Suffice it to say I should have gone to the big established stores.

I will not be returning to Desi Bazaar anytime soon after spending $9:00 there and no merchandise, or apology that makes sense. Very poor public relations.
