I got a speeding ticket & called ticketbust (because they have a massively advertised success rate for beating tickets). After the representative read her smooth script over the phone she asked me for my credit crd information. I had asked her if I would get papers to review and sign before we proceeded. She said yes. So I gave her the card info. I reviewed the papers at home & signed the authorization. (I was unaware that they charged me the $249 even before I sent them the signed documents). Ten days later they charge me $14.95 for certified mail (which I had authorized). Later I read all the bad reviews about ticketbust online, but decide to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope that I am not one of the people who gets screwed over. I have also been calling ticketbust & the court regularly for status updates.

A week later I got a red light camera ticket (for making a right turn without coming to a complete stop). I remembered that a street camera had flashed twice on me the last few days. So I call ticketbust & told them about my red light ticket & a possible sencond red light one (I never got the 2nd red light ticket. Ive called the court and they have no citations indicating a 2nd ticket). Rep said she could bill me for them both & give me a discount (she said Id have to take care of it eventually). So she got my credit crd info & said she would send me the documents like last time. Even before I got the documents, I decided to wait till I got the 2nd red light ticket to be billed for it so I call them back only a few minutes later to say I didnt want the discount and I would only be sending signed paperwork for the first red light ticket.

They said she already charged my card for $458. I told them that I hadnt even signed the authorization form! They said that they had done the same thing last time as well. That is not an excuse! Not wanting to lose my sanity, I finally said ok, just make sure you do what Im paying you for. The court found me guilty on both the speeding & the red light ticket. And ticketbust simply asked me to do a Trial-De-Novo (reapealing). I sent them the documents for this and a few days ago the court sent me a letter saying that the documents were submitted late. Ticketbust had received my documents on 2/22, the due date was 2/24 and they sent it out on 2/25 (why? I do not know. Of course my documents were received late. They sent it AFTER the due date) and to top it off they charged me another $14.95 for certified mail which I hadnt authorized this time. As far as the '2nd red light ticket' ticketbust sent me a letter saying they had resolved this for me with the court & that I shouldnt contact the court regarding this because it may lead to the court reopening the case. Filthy liars. Ofcourse they didnt want me to call the court regarding the 2nd red light ticket; because it doesnt exist!
