Curtis Duffin Vacation Rental Scam Internet

I was scammed by a man named Curtis Duffin who posted an add on craigslist stating he had a vacation rental in Miami for six days that I requested and he sent me a contract which I filled out and emailed back to him. He required a $2k deposit to hold the property which I deposited into his bank account. He then told me he no longer wanted to rent the property to me and would send my money back the following morning I gave him my bank account info. And of course he never sent it back and will not take my phone calls only responds to tects when I agitate him. If there is anything that can be done to catch this man or persue him I would be more than willling to help and I have the proof that he scammed me out of $2000 without ever having the right to rent the property he said he did.
