US Containers Escrow Ripoff

I didn't want to be part of the tire program that they had but they forced me to take it. I was having money taken out my check every week for the tire program that they had and was charged for tires.

They did have a tire insurance program that you had to particpate in and you were allowed 6 tires per year that you wouldn't be charged for and then they charge you for tires twice or three times for the same tires which adds to your 6 tire limit which means you are giving money to the tire insurance program and end up paying for the tires which brings your limit up to what they allow and you end paying for them. If you have a receipt where you have paid them for the same tire they may take off the charge but they don't take it off your 6 tire limit.

They also take money out of your check each week for a Escrow which amounts to $750 on top of the tire program.

Upon leaving the company and trying to get my Escrow back, they start coming up with charges from 6-12 months prior which have already been deducted and paid out which is a recharge for the same tires, so they can come with a excuse not to pay you the escrow back.

While working there I was picking up a trailer which had a blown tire and I called it in to dispatch and hadn't moved the trailer from the yard. They charged me for the tire which I didn't even pull anywhere after fighting with them for 4 weeks they refunded me the tire money and tried to charge me for the same tire 6 months later. Not sure if I got all the money back from them. Thats not the only time that they have duble and triple charged me for the same tires. They promised me my escrow back upon leaving the company after 90 days we started calling them to remind them about the escrow release and they sent us a escrow release form to sign that stated that we would get our $750 back and they wouldn't owe us anything after that. I signed it and sent it back and they gave us the run around for 3 weeks about the getting the check they then sent us another escrow release form to sign that stated that they only owed us $100 and there was tire charges that we had already paid for. They are coming up with excuses for charges that are on the tire program which should not be part of the Escrow from 6-12 months ago which we have already paid by being deducted from my paycheck.
Trans-Continetal and US Container are ran by the same people and under the same dispatchers, with different DOT Numbers. Their pay scale is average but they pay on the average of 40 miles less then other companies. On the average I drove 300 miles free every week. Its a company I would not recommend to drive for and also not to be part of their lease-to-purchase program.

Advice for people who still work for this company keep copies of everything and write daily notes on every trailer that you pick up and never throw them away because they will try to charge yoyu for the same things again. My full time job was driving a truck while my wife's full time job was scrutinizing my paycheck every week to see what we were being charged for. And also having to fight with them every week when something wasn't right and getting the run around on this. Upon calling them they were never friendly to my wife when she told them who she was. And also was put on hold and transferred from one person to another.

Drivers beware this company is not going to help you out.
