Union Federal Mortgage TransContinental Title Company not paying for services rendered

I am a Certified Notary Signing Agent, an Independent Contractor. TransContinental Title Company contracted me to do 3 signings. The borrowers refused to sign because the lender UNION FEDERAL MORTGAGE another rip-off company out of New York pulled unethical stunts. Not disclosing closing cost till the documents were shown to borrower. Not putting husbands name on documents. Well needless to say borrowers refused to sign. After I have printed up documents & traveled to borrowers homes, I have not got paid for my services. Not even the half fee that TransContinental Title Company claim on their confirmation sheet. TransContinental Title Company contracted me, Union Federal Mortgage contracts TransContinental.

Well Union Federal Mortgage has a policy if loan doen't close, TransContinental Title Company does not get paid. So everyone is spinning their wheels except Union Federal Mortgage. If Union Federal Mortgage was a more honest company, then their loans would go through. This mortgage company sells the mortgages, they do not keep them, which a lot of companies do that. The thing with Union Federal Mortgage they are shady character the loan officers. I heard them yell at the borrowers & insult them because they refused to sign. Well let me get to the point. TransContinental Title Company did not even pay me the half fees that I am entitled to. I just sent them my final letter for payment and I will see what happens.

I am hopeful that TransContinental will pay me, but right now it feels like pulling teeth from them. Other than Union Federal Mortgage as one of their lenders they deal with they are usually very good. TransContinental are really nice people. It is that one bad lender that gives everyone a bad name. Anyone who deals with Union Federal Mortgage out of New York, BEWARE!!! If I finally do get paid I will be happy to update this report.
