Poor customer service and shady dealings

I placed an online order with Chadwicks over a week ago. I actually placed two orders about a half hour apart—forgot something. I only got email confirmation for the second order. My credit card was not charged for either—until today—a full 7 days after I ordered. And both orders were charged, but still no email confirmation and no order number for the first order.
When I called last week to make sure the order went through, I got phone numbers that ere disconnected and was told Customer Service was closed because of a company take-over and computer upgrades and no one could check order statuses for another day. So, I've called back three times, including today—a week later and I'm being told the same thing—computer upgrades and the system is down. But NOW they have my money and I have no idea if I'm getting my orders or not! And they just keep telling me "there's nothing we can, nothing we can tell you, try back in a day or two". Some system somewhere is working enough to have charged my bank account! If supposedly someone somewhere is shipping out orders—why can't I talk to them and how can they look at orders that need to be shipped if the system is down? And they keep telling me there is no supervisor, and they don't know who is in charge.???
