Bait and switch! Quoted me $4,500.00 and it ended up being $18,000. To move from Vegas to the Columbia Gorge! All of my furniture is badly damaged

The move from HELL.

Elite Moving and Storage did the classic "bait and switch". They quoted me $4,500. And at the eleventh hour, after showing up to my home on the big move day, two hours later they said "$17,000 plus"!

I was left holding up my pants, had to move out on that day, I took a huge gulp and said "I have no choice, but why didn't you know this BEFORE"???

After waiting over a week for my belongings, only a few things showed up, they held all of my art work and pertinent belongings "hostage" until the received PAYMENT IN FULL. Two weeks later a second truck showed up.

I won't even bother to tell you how unprofessional the whole thing was, the unloading, late arrival, etc.

I woke up to a moving nightmare. The white carpet filthy. Things that were supposed to be in the garage were in the dining room, etc. And then, as I looked out the kitchen window I saw many boxes left out in the snow and freezing cold, never brought into the home!!!

As I have been unpacking and trying to find where my stuff is I have come across horrific damage to my furniture, pieces missing, chunks having fallen off.

DO NOT USE ELITE MOVING AND STORAGE, unless you want to experience a moving nightmare!
